This tour is designed for people who like walking. We climb up the hills to get to the famous Michelangelo Square, from where we enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole Florence then we move towards San Miniato Church, one of the oldest religious buildings of Florence.

While visiting the church, we admire the medieval marble inlay of the pavement and the beautiful mosaic decoration in the apse.

From here we get down the hill crossing the district called “Oltrarno”, meeting the remains of the old walls that climb up to Belvedere Fort and the Porta San Giorgio, one of the original 14th century gates.

The tour includes: Michelangelo Square, San Miniato Church and Oltrarno district streets.

Conservative attire is recommended when visiting the churches.The churches might be closed for the services.
