We learn everything about Michelangelo, visiting the district where he lived.

Casa Buonarroti museum bears his family name, but it is not the place where he lived.

His original house was transformed in this big palazzo where his descendants had lived until it was transformed into a museum where we can see the very first known works by the artist.

He died in Rome when he was almost ninety, but he was buried in the Santa Croce church, the most important franciscan monastery in the city, where we find works by Giotto, Donatello, Brunelleschi and other artists. Other famous Italians are buried here: Galileo Galilei, Niccolò Machiavelli and Gioacchino Rossini.

The tour includes: Casa Buonarroti (closed on Tuesday), Santa Croce church (entrance fee not included).

Conservative attire is recommended when visiting the churches.

Entrance fees not included

The tour can be customised according to your wishes.
