We start from Piazza del Campo.

Twice a year, July 2nd and August 16th, the square is quite crowded because of palio, the special horse race competition.

We visit some areas of several Contrade, following the typical alleys which lend us to the stable , the fountain to be baptized, the local church where the priest blesses the horse and the jockey before competion.

We also visit the museum where the Palios (the cloths painted and dedicated to Mary) won by the Contrada are gathered.

The visit includes: Piazza del Campo and its monuments, some areas of several Contrad, Cathedral, the museum of the Palios
